It’s Panto Time – Oh Yes It Is!

About 220 children and their carers are in for a special treat this weekend – courtesy of county Rotarians and their friends.

Lincoln’s Sheriff Roy South and Lincoln City Radio presenter Phil Pask have rallied the help of Lincoln FFN, the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia  and other friends – to fund a wonderful trip to a matinee performance of this year’s Drill Hall pantomime.

The excited party will arrive to take their free seats in time for the 2pm show tomorrow (Sunday, Dec 30). The youngsters will also be treated to ice creams and sweets to tuck into as they enjoy the magical performance of Peter Pan.

Co-organiser Phil Pask said: “We enlisted the help of Kids Out, Bridge Church, Lincoln City Radio, Lincolnshire County Council Children’s Department and the City of Lincoln Council to identify children who might not otherwise get the chance to see a panto.

“This is the third year this has been done and the city’s Mayoral party will also be in attendance.”
